I will be honest: blogging gets put on the back burner when I get super busy. But what better to come back with than this adorable little family’s newborn lifestyle session? I love a lifestyle approach to newborn photography. It allows me to primarily capture those authentic early interactions between parents and baby. Baby E is perfection! Congratulations to one of my favorite couples!

  1. Adeline started Pre-K a week and a half ago!!! She loves it! She’s already made lots of friends and she tells me about all the things she’s learning and doing every day. I can’t believe I have a school girl already!
  2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I have a girl who is obsessed. When my little brother was equally obsessed in the early ’90s, I had no idea that I would be dealing with a second round of tmnt mania in 2015. Halloween costumes are currently in the works.
  3. Speaking of Halloween…fall is upon us! Woohoo!
  4. Soccer, swimming, dance, oh my! Adeline is a busy little lady lately! We’ve got to get her little sis in a class or two. Although, it’s kind of nice having all of this one-on-one time with my last baby <3
  5. And of course I couldn’t blog without sharing my new fave Trader Joe’s staples: sriracha Ranch dressing (I’ve been putting it on taco salads with their quinoa cowboy veggie patties); sriracha and roasted garlic BBQ sauce (delicious on our BBQ faux chicken pizzas, veggie burgers, and pretty much anything else); and, for an indulgent treat- the frosted vanilla bean cake in their baked goods section- amazing!

Have a great Labor Day weekend! I will try not to be a stranger on here! 😉

Welcome Baby H! https://sweetadelinephoto.com/welcome-baby-h/ https://sweetadelinephoto.com/welcome-baby-h/#respond Sun, 15 Mar 2015 17:11:45 +0000 http://sweetadelinephoto.com/?p=1798 It was so good to see these four for a recent in-home newborn lifestyle session welcoming sweet Baby H. She’s already in great hands with her adorable big sis. And it must be noted, how perfect is their home for a lifestyle session? It’s straight out of a magazine! Congratulations, my friends!Hazel-Blog4Hazel-Blog6Hazel-Blog-7Hazel-Blog5Hazel-Blog8Hazel-Blog3Hazel-Blog9Hazel-Blog2Hazel-Blog1PS

  1. We’ve had a glimpse of summer these past few days! It’s been in the 80’s and 90’s…need to switch from heater to AC (or in our case, box and ceiling fans, haha).
  2. Checked out a potential Pre-K for our big girl this past week. I can’t believe she’ll be starting school in the fall! *tear*
  3. Our youngest, Shiloh, 2 years at the end of this month, is becoming quite the girly-girl lately. She is obsessed with dresses and dressing up, shoes (she’s even been living in our 3-foot Anna doll’s blue plastic ones that so happen to fit her feet), and all things pink! It’s a bit of a new experience for us, as her big sis has always been into pirates and the color red (they both, however, harbor a ‘Frozen’ obsession like seemingly all kids of their ages).
  4. Gorgeous fiery sunsets lately!
  5. Had a 1st Communion mini portrait session recently- a first for me! I love the images. I probably won’t be blogging them, as it was only a mini and I’ve shared a few on my Facebook page already, but if you’re interested in seeing them, follow me on Facebook at Sweet Adeline Photography.

Welcome Baby E! https://sweetadelinephoto.com/welcome-baby-e/ https://sweetadelinephoto.com/welcome-baby-e/#respond Wed, 27 Nov 2013 18:00:28 +0000 http://sweetadelinephoto.com/?p=554 I am so thrilled for my dear friends, who just welcomed a new baby girl into their family. She has a sweet big sister, who happens to be a good buddy of my own girls, to show her the ropes. I’m sad that said big sis was napping during our little mini session, but I’m certain there will be lots of family sessions in the near future to capture the sweet sibs. Here are a few of my faves from my afternoon spent meeting little Miss E!IMG_6447 1st edit tiltIMG_6422 FINALIMG_6459 FINALIMG_6471IMG_6483 FINAL black & whitePS

  1. Thanksgiving is tomorrow! Although I do a lot of cooking for it every year, this will be my first time ever actually hosting it at my home. I’m nervous (even though it’s only my parents coming, haha) and excited!
  2. What I’m especially thankful for this year: my family’s health; our home in a neighborhood I love; my sweet girls who amaze and entertain me everyday; and my hardworking husband who makes it possible for me to do what is most important to me- stay home to raise our kids- and has been incredibly supportive of me getting my photography business going.
  3. Photography is my number one passion, but food (specifically vegetarian) and cooking are a close second. And my hubby is an even more talented chef than I. We recently started a Facebook page devoted to recipe-sharing, grocery shopping and restaurant tips, and all things food. Follow along! Bad Hunters, Good Cooks
  4. Christmas is coming! Christmas is coming! Decorating commences Friday 😉
  5. And guess who else is coming…the Elf on the Shelf! I have been waiting to do it with Adeline for years! I might even photo document our elf’s adventures 😉

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU AND YOURS, From Sweet Adeline Photography
